I often hold "healthy breakfast ideas" seminars, either at home or wherever requested by someone who wishes to host for friends/colleagues. Alongside sampling a number of different breakfast options, I talk about why it is so important to get breakfast right as not only does it impact energy levels throughout the day, it also plays a crucial role in hormone and mood balance as well as in regulating our weight.
There is always an enthusiastic response and lots of questions from the participants, particularly as there are so many new breakfast options regularly appearing on supermarket shelves. There is also often conflicting advice ( high/low protein/carb ?) on what we should be eating and I address this not just generally but also in relation to nutrition and morning exercise routines.
