Springtime cleansing starts in earnest this week with a group of sixteen embarking on the March Cleanse and Reboot!
Some Cleansers are back for their third or fourth detox week, whilst others are venturing into their first ever programme. We had a lively briefing session last week discussing the process of detoxification, what to expect from a Cleanse (and how to alleviate any temporary side effects!) and a detailed run through the protocol, foods allowed and supplements for the week.
“Old-timers” reassured the first-timers and many ideas and tips were shared amongst the team. Further Cleanses will be held at the end of April and in June so please do get in touch if you are interested in participating or would like to find out more.
“I have recently completed the Cleanse and Reboot course run by Ruth. I did the programme to kick-start a healthy regime to lose some weight without going on a diet. I have learned so much about nutrition and how the body metabolises food. I had fallen into bad habits like not drinking enough water, not eating enough vegetables and skipping meals and this was part of the reason for my lethargy and sluggish bowel. The initial talk was really informative, with a list of better alternatives of foods to choose as well as a pre-prepared pack of supplements and a dry brush, which was all new to me. I felt completely supported and encouraged by the WhatsApp group Ruth set up, with a daily message, recipe ideas and tips.
